Joining East Shore Unitarian Church
The members
of East Shore Unitarian Church invite you to explore membership in our
congregation. We offer a liberal religious community in which people freely
explore, develop and celebrate the meanings, values and purposes of their
lives. Why join?
We require no creedal tests and no professions of dogma or doctrine. For us, membership is a covenant to walk together in fellowship and love. We ask only for an honest desire to participate in and support the life and work of the congregation. We offer a two-hour membership class called "East Shore and You". Visitors and new members come to discuss what membership means, get a quick history of Unitarianism, and meet others seeking a faith community. We also offer a four week class called "Introduction to Unitarian Universalism". Everything you ever wanted to know about Unitarianism, Universalism, Unitarian Universalism, our congregation, and the denomination, but were afraid to ask! Rev. Joan will take you on the magical “mythery” tour of our faith, denominational structure and heritage. Great for newcomer or long-time member alike. Your Path To Membership
