Covenant Circles

Our vision is to be a caring, religious community.  Therefore, we offer Covenant Circles so that people may fully enter the life of the church community.  A Covenant Circle meets two needs: first, it structures a nurtures caring relationships in a voluntary small-group setting with trained leaders; second, it provides ongoing opportunities for personal growth through exploring life issues in a liberal religious context.

What is a Covenant Circle?

An intentional, relational church group that:

  • Consists of 8-10 congregants
  • Meets twice a month;
  • Is led by a trained leader and co-leader;
  • Has a set meeting format consisting of an opening, check-in, reading, discussion, check-out, and closing ritual;
  • Shares a covenant with ground rules for the group's relationship and interaction (based upon Unitarian Universalist purposes and principles.
