Social and Community Building Auction Committee The Auction Committee orchestrates one of East Shore’s great community building and fund raising events. The committee is active only the first four months of each year and raises upwards of $50,000 for our community.
Chalice Players Do you like to act, sing, dance? How about art work, set design, costume creation? Or working with adults and children to put on theatrical performances?
Perhaps writing is your talent and you want to write a play for adults and/or children. Many of our plays are written by East Shore members, with music composed by members as well.
Join a small ministry where your spirit is lifted while finding friendship, connection, and community. A variety of dates and times are available.
Dorothea Dix Support Group Mental illness, developmental disability, and other forms of mental dysfunction can be an ongoing problem, not only for people with these disabilities, but also for their families. We are here for you.
Game@7 Join us in the library Saturday evenings for a quiet game of Scrabble, or the fun verbal-learning activity you bring with you. Card or theater games are options too. Supervised children with competitive skills are welcome, especially if they bring their favorite game to share. Check out the Game at 7:00 p.m.; interact and join if you like.
Group f/5.6 Group f/5.6 is an informal organization open to anyone with a serious interest in taking or printing photographs as an art form.

Breakfast Group We meet on Saturday mornings for breakfast, socializing, and support. Occasionally we have potlucks with partners.

Group Our goal is to create a space where men can explore their feelings, make friends and get support. New members are welcome when there is an “open” night. Call to find out when that will be. |
P-Patch Join us in redeveloping our retired farm parcel next to Holly House, in support of the earth and our community. A weedy tangle of vines is giving way to delightfully productive garden space through our efforts.Our gardening methods are naturally sustainable; conserving water, soil and wildlife resources. Half of our produce is donated to social justice causes of the gardeners’ choice. Check out the Pea Patch; interact and join if you like.
Seabeck Memorial Day Retreat For more than 20 years, we have gathered at Seabeck on Memorial Day for fellowship and fun. Part retreat and part social event, Seabeck puts a uniquely Unitarian spin on the American custom of “church camp.
Second Saturday Supper Group Spice up your life with the Second Saturday Supper Group with excellent food, intelligent conversation, community, and friendship.
Third Saturday Bridge Join us once a month from 6:45-10:15pm. We welcome players of all skill levels. However, beginners should have at least taken a few lessons. Call me for details.
30 Plus/Minus (+/-) The 30 Plus/Minus group is mainly a social group; however, all members are interested in public and social service. We meet for brunch on the first Sunday of each month. and plan our next event.
The Women’s Perspective is a monthly gathering of women (open to all women; membership in the group or East Shore itself is optional). Our mission is to enable UU women to gather together for support, personal growth, and spiritual enrichment. Click here to see the upcoming calendar of events.
